Waterloo Masjid's Friday youth Halaqahs cover essential Islamic topics, with a deep dive into Imam Al-Nawawi’s 40 Hadith Collection. Led by Sh. Ammar Jakda, this program is designed to create a welcoming space for youth to learn, connect, and grow.
Waterloo Masjid has submitted plans to the City of Waterloo for an expansion project to add a multi-purpose gym in a two-level building extension.
Alhamdulillah, with a lot of effort from our architect Phd. Khaled Berbash , to fine tune our design based on City of Waterloo planner comments, , the Waterloo Masjid Multi Level, Gym Extension project - , is , Alhamdulillah, moving forward to Site Plan Submission.
The plan includes an elevator reaching each floor, accessible washrooms on all levels, and an exercise facility on the gym mezzanine. This will insha Allah facilitate youth programs and external events like nikah/wedding, and be a true community centre facility, that will also benefit our neighbours inshaAllah.

You can register your child or children, inshaAllah, between August 24th and August 28th.
The cost is $200 for the entire school year. (For Sunday school, or for Evening School) It is a very reasonable fee, and any outstanding costs are subsidized by the masjid.
Tahfeez classes are $350 per person, per year, and require assessment prior to admission.
All classes will be conducted in person, Alhamdulillah.
