Masjid Membership

Waterloo Masjid members participate in annual general body meetings and support various activities including electing board members.

Anyone from the Waterloo Masjid community can apply to become a member of the Masjid by submitting the membership application form, supporting documents and a non-refundable initiation fee to the Masjid administration in person. Membership will start upon the approval of the board and the payment of annual membership fee.

Existing members can contact the Masjid administration for a copy of the constitution.

Faith Foundations: Join us for Friday evenning youth halaqahs

Waterloo Masjid's Friday youth Halaqahs cover essential Islamic topics, with a deep dive into Imam Al-Nawawi’s 40 Hadith Collection. Led by Sh. Ammar Jakda, this program is designed to create a welcoming space for youth to learn, connect, and grow.

Class schedule

All classes will be conducted in person, Alhamdulillah.

Weekend School classes will be on Sunday from 10:00am to 2:00pm:
- First day of class will be Sunday, Sep 8th, 2024.
Qur'an Evening School classes will be on weekdays between 5:30 to 7:30pm for an hour:
- Please pick one time slot. Time slot is not guaranteed, it depends on availability.
- Time assignment will be announced later insha Allah.
- First day of class will be Monday, Sep 9th, 2024.
Qur'an Tahfeez Program classes will be on weekdays between 5:30 to 7:30pm:
- New Students must be tested before placement.
- First day of class will be Tuesday Sep 3rd, 2024.
